We left Cap Skirring and within 24 hours travelled the full lenght of Senegal by Boat and Sept-place car to Saint Louis, 2km from the (unofficial) border with Mauritania.  Our trip form Dakar to Saint Louis posed no problems, except that we saw with dread what traffic would await us on our return!  Our fellow passengers included a sheep on the roof and a lamb with the front seat passenger, who was being fed from a baby’s bottle.
